How to be healthy part-1(Body)
As I promised in
previous post, here I came up with another post on how to live a healthy life.
So let’s start it. In living a healthy life first of all you should understand
it is not a one day work nor it will take 2-3 years to achieve it instead it is
a daily work, you have to live each and every day like that as it is a
never-ending journey. So according to me there are 3 thing you should consider
first is body, second is mind and third is soul. As all are long topics so I will
talk only about body in this post and will speak about others in next post next
Sunday.
Here you just have to
take care of two thing and everybody knows this they are workout and diet. First of all
this blog is not for gym goers their workout and diet will be different that I will
talk about later, this is for common people and for both gender so that almost
all people can get benefited.
à First will about workout here for your heart to have a long life
with minimal problems everyone should do daily 10-15 minutes cardio, you can
get any cardio vid on internet so just find one and get started. If you want more than this you should start basic body weight exercise to increase your muscle strength, basically the thing is you should be able to handle your own body weight. Next is if you
want long life of your legs also (long life means when you are in 60s you should not be in
wheelchair, your legs should have strength) so you should start walking on daily basis. Walk when
you are on call, walk when you ate dinner or lunch, not outside then walk on
building terrace, or in home from hall to kitchen like this but walk!!!! I
daily walk about 5-8 km just in my home, and if got more time and once I get
out of home I don’t stop before 10-12 km. I am not telling you to do walk this
much, but just start initially your body will get tired some of you will get
sick also but believe me after sometimes you will enjoy it. Playing outdoor
like badminton in night also helps you to keep good cardiovascular health.
à Diet is important thing and a vast topic on which I can speak
whole day. But for one thing you should keep in mind is that eat high protein breakfast
(at least 25-30gm) control your taste here for one time of day, then eat lunch
fully means vegetable, roti, dal, rice all don’t skip anything, eat less but eat
all these are necessary for nutrition of body. On next level try increasing the quantity of vegetable and dal. Now comes evening snacks here
you want something crunchy, something tasty, so this has no restriction eat anything
you want but if it is unhealthy and you know it then just eat one servings only
don’t just jump on it. Now comes dinner here experts say you should eat light
so that you stomach get rest at night, but mostly the tastiest and unhealthiest
dish only is getting eaten at night only, so just cut down the quantity by little
and don’t fill stomach fully, like eating 2-3 pav only when it is pavbhaji or
when it is fried item eat just when your stomach get fills don’t try fill your
taste. Eating slowly and chewing properly will reduce the quantity you eat, so
when you know it is unhealthy then just eat slow. So in this way your body will
get everything it wants and you also don’t compromise too much with taste.
